Set out from the pier on a panoramic drive through Cartagena. Along the way, admire the marvelous Republican architecture of the Manga residential area -- home to some of the city's most ornate mansions and beautiful houses.
You'll pause for photos at the Fort of San Felipe de Barajas -- the largest Spanish fort in the New World, originally built in the 17th century.
Arriving at the original Walled City -- Cartagena's Old Town -- marvel at the line-up of colonial buildings and age-old fortifications around every corner, as well as the old church domes, the iconic clock tower, and dazzling ocean views.
At La Marina Park, disembark the coach to explore on your own. Use your free time to stroll the narrow streets, take in the stunning architecture of the old plazas, and browse in the shops for a selection of handicrafts, leather goods or emeralds -- Colombia's native gem.
Return to La Marina Park to reboard the coach. En route back to the pier, relax on a scenic drive through the modern residential areas of Bocagrande and Castillo Grande -- famous for their wide variety of shops, restaurants and hotels.
