Enjoy a narrated drive, followed by a walking tour of Bruges; then, spend free time shopping at the Christmas Market of Bruges.
As you enter the historical Old Town of Bruges, its beautiful medieval atmosphere is immediately evident. Cobblestone streets twist and turn, and centuries-old buildings peer into the broad canals. A guided walk leads you through the picturesque city, past the Market Place with its age-old merchant guild houses, the Belfry Tower, Town Hall and the Gothic-style Chapel of the Holy Blood.
Browse independently in the city's squares where Christmas Market stalls sell handmade decorations, gifts, chocolates, and tasty local delicacies. The traditional step-gabled buildings decorated with sparkling lights, the huge Christmas tree and the ice rink all add to a delightfully festive atmosphere.
Meet up with your guide, who will lead you past the romantic Lake of Love to rejoin the coach for the journey back to the ship.
