Visby, surrounded by a massive, intact City Wall, is celebrated for its history and for its pretty parks, gardens and flowers.
Behind the wall, a charming medieval stone city awaits you. Leave the coach at one of the towers and take a guided walk through the narrow lanes straight out of the Middle Ages.
You'll visit the impressive Cathedral of St Mary and pass evocative ruins of medieval churches and monasteries.
Some time in the Botanic Gardens, among different trees and many lovely flowers, is included.
