Ulvik is a small community with around 650 inhabitants, famous for its cultivation of various fruits, including apples and is the second most important fruit-growing municipality in Norway.
You're headed to the Hardanger Juice & Cider Factory, located on Lekve Farm. The farm is located in the hills above Ulvik, with a beautiful view of the fjord below.
Your journey there will take you on a small detour to allow you to see some of the surrounding scenery, including an outside view of Ulvik Church, built in 1859.
Once at the cider factory there take a tour of the small factory and learn about the production of juice, cider and apple brandy. After the tour you will have the opportunity to taste some of their products.
Refreshed and relaxed, reboard your coach and head back to Ulvik.
Note:
Tasting includes non-alcoholic apple juice, cider and apple brandy alcohol for those who want to taste. Children will only be served apple juice.
