Visit a wilderness camp in the north of Norway — a chance to explore nature and interact with some adorable animals.
An experienced guide will accompany you, and you'll set out for a hike with some of Norway's top-trained husky dogs. Along the way, you will see the fjords and mountains that surround Tromsø, and take a closer look at some of the local wildlife.
Back at the center, enjoy a slice of delicious chocolate cake and Norwegian-style coffee made over the fire and served in the Sami lavvo (tent). Make the most of the opportunity to pet some of the husky puppies if available, who are cute beyond words, before you head back to Tromsø.
Notes:
Wear clothing that can easily be washed; you may get dirty when in contact with the dogs. The availability of husky puppies is dependent on the mating season. In the event that the Tromsø Bridge is closed, sites will be accessible using an alternative route that may involve a tunnel. Children under the age of 3 must be secured in a child's car seat on the transportation. These are not available through the tour operator; you must bring your own from home. On very warm days, the tour may be canceled in the interest of animal welfare.
