Soak up the sights of the city from the unrivalled perspective of the water on this exciting exploration by RIB.
Hop into a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) and skim out onto the still water of the Trondheim Fjord, the third-longest fjord in Norway. Fill your lungs with pure air as you gaze up at the emerald hillsides rising from the coastline and keep your eyes peeled for marine life.
Your Captain will reveal stories of Munkholmen (Monk’s Island) as you pause for a close look at the tiny islet which has been the site of various activities over the centuries, including public Viking executions. Cruising into the canal, you’ll enter the heart of the city and buzz through the Old Town. Hear fascinating facts as you admire the unusual 17th century bridge and head out to the artificial island of Brattøra, before rounding off your experience by skirting around your ship.
Notes:
The RIB ride lasts approximately 1 hour. Survival suits are provided and must be worn. Guests should wear warm clothing and must be good swimmers. This tour is not suitable for those guests who are pregnant, have back or neck injuries, or for children under 8 years old. All sightseeing is conducted from the RIB.
