Gear up, hop on a bike, and take to the streets of the wonderful city Trondheim. You'll pedal past palaces, fortresses and cathedrals, and along its pretty Nidelva River path.
Your guide will lead you along the fjord and across the new bike bridge for some superb views of Munkholmen -- Trondheim's fortress island. Pause for photos and admire the majestic Nidaros Cathedral and Archbishop's Palace.
In the historical Bakklandet district (the Old Town), with its picturesque wooden houses, you may have the opportunity to try the world's first bicycle elevator -- the Trampe.
On your way back to the bike shop, cross the modern Solsiden district. This former shipyard-turned-hangout is now dotted with restaurants and bars and is ever-popular with the locals.
