Step back in time and discover the enchanting medieval city of Tallinn, the jewel of Northern Europe. With its immaculately preserved Old Town, Tallinn offers a rare glimpse into the Hanseatic trading era and the city's rich cultural heritage.
In the Lower Old Town, wander along the charming streets on a guided walk past the medieval City Wall. Enter St Catherine's Passage and head to the Old Market Square. View the Tallinn Town Hall -- the oldest surviving Town Hall in the Baltics and Northern Europe -- and some of Tallinn's other famous buildings.
At Olde Hansa Restaurant, set in the 700-year-old home of a Hanseatic merchant, you'll indulge in a delicious dinner made up of local dishes. During your feast, delight in the sounds of a live troubadour performance. A troubadour is a medieval poet-musician who traditionally performed Occitan (Basque-French) poetry and songs themed mainly along the lines of chivalry and courtly love. Typically, troubadours were multi-talented and offered wide-ranging vocal and artistic skills, and your troubadour today is no exception. This is a highly unusual, exceptional opportunity to enjoy something really different.
Afterward, journey back to the ship through the busy streets and Viru Gate.
