Located in the town of lava, Vikings and elves, °64 Reykjavik was established in 2009 and is the first Icelandic distillery of its kind.
Snorri Jonsson is a partner and co-founder of 64°Reykjavik Distillery, Iceland‘s first micro distillery. With a background in engineering, he has many years of experience working on research and development projects for international corporations based in Germany and Denmark. After years of working in engineering, he decided to commit to his life-long passion for fine spirit manufacturing and he, along with his partner, established the distillery in 2009.
The team of distillers is passionate about capturing the diverse flavors of Iceland.

If owner Snorri Jonsson is not available to greet you, another distiller will lead you through the facility. Minimum age to sample the spirits is 20 years.
