A short walk from the pier brings you to the biking center. Gear up with a bicycle and helmet and listen to some safety instructions before you venture out on a bike ride through the wonderful city of Oslo.
Discover many of the major sights in a fun and relaxed way as this approximately three-hour adventure has you cycling along car-free paths, through parks, down hidden back streets, and along the fjord. There is plenty of time for stops and pictures.
Your guide will reveal the stories behind the monuments, such as the medieval castle, the Royal Palace, and the world-famous Frogner Sculpture Park.
Return your equipment to the biking center and walk directly back to the pier.
Guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so but must make their own way back to the ship.
Notes:
If the ship is docked further from the city center, a bus transfer or a 30-minute walk may be required to reach the biking center. The tour ends at the biking center. Minimum age is 12 years. No specific fitness level is required. Although the route is planned to avoid vehicle traffic as much as possible, there will be some places where you will encounter motorized vehicles. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. The tour ends in town close to Akershus Fortress where guests can then make their own way back to the ship.
