The highlight of your visit to Kristiansand may well be this boat trip along the coastline. The island-speckled coast — a route of unusual beauty — features tiny coastal communities with traditional mariners' houses, now converted to weekend homes.
Back on land, transfer to a waiting motorcoach for the second part of the tour to see the region's most beautiful town — Lillesand. Once bustling with maritime activity, Lillesand is endowed with a sheltered harbor and boasts a current population of 8,200. Its quaint streetscapes feature white-painted 18th- and 19th-century timber houses. Enjoy some free time to enjoy the atmosphere of this charming town, aptly named the Jewel of Sorlandet, before you return to Kristiansand via the scenic coastal road.
