Departing the pier in Killybegs, you will travel north through sleepy towns to an area known as the Rosses, or Na Rosa in Gaelic, meaning "the headlands."
Villages are scattered along the rocky and barren coast, preserving aspects of traditional Irish life that have largely vanished elsewhere.
The capital (albeit a very small one) of the Rosses is Dungloe, and it is here that the annual Mary from Dungloe International Festival takes place.
Onward to the village of Crolly — home of internationally-acclaimed singer Enya and her siblings who formed the traditional Irish group Clannad. Stop here to enjoy an Irish coffee.
Afterward, reboard your motorcoach for the return journey to Killybegs. Sit back and relax to enjoy the wonderful, breathtaking scenery and take advantage of the photo stops along the way.
