Travel through the Massif des Maures along a hairpin road that affords breathtaking views. Scenery abounds at every turn of the indented coastline, which is covered with beautiful mimosa, palm, and gum trees.
Discover, in the heart of the Maure forest, the charming village of Bormes Les Mimosas -- an authentic medieval Provençal village renowned as one of the most attractive and flower-filled in all of France. Bormes les Mimosas perches on a hill at the entrance to the Dom forest. A winning combination of benign climate, fabulous panoramas and flowering charm has attracted many artists, painters, sculptors and craftspeople to the village. Some of the streets are so steep they are referred to as rompi-cuou, or neck-breakers.
Join your guide on a walking tour through the narrow bougainvillea-covered streetscapes, with ample time for shopping or relaxing at a café before returning to the pier.
Notes:
Tour requires walking approximately 200 yards and crossing a parking lot over flat terrain to (dis)embark the tour coach. During the summer months, the access road entering and exiting St Tropez can be extremely busy; time spent on the coach may be significantly extended.
