Departing St Tropez by motorcoach, you will drive past numerous beaches and through the hills en route to the village of Ramatuelle. This old Provençal town features narrow, winding streets with arches and vaults and old houses, now restored, huddled against the town wall near the church.
Head to the town of Gassin -- another old village standing proudly apart at an elevation of 600 feet. A lookout point here offers a scenic view of the Gulf of St Tropez below, and its network of alleyways is linked by many flights of steps.
Don't miss Port Grimaud -- a town that looks like an old, simple fishing village, but in fact it is a modern complex of luxury townhouses. Enjoy strolling through this lively village, past the pastel-colored houses covered with Roman tiles. The town is connected by canals, alleys, tiny squares and bridges.
Notes:
Tour requires walking approximately 200 yards across a parking lot (flat surface) to board the tour coach and to return to the ship afterwards. Not advisable for guests with mobility limitations. During the summer months, the access road entering and exiting St Tropez can be extremely busy; time spent on the coach may be significantly extended. Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience.
