Get acquainted with St Tropez's intimate treasures with a short walking tour through the city.
Your guide will meet you on the pier and you’ll start with a walk along the bay, passing the famous Café Le Senequier. This seafront promenade is known for excellent people-watching. Art has always played an important role here, and St Tropez has been at the center of significance in several art movements. Peer over the shoulders of some of the artists who make their living in the open air, painting harbor scenes that they sell to visitors like you. Some of these people are very talented, and their paintings are almost photo-perfect.
Pause for a great view of the tiny bay and beach before continuing to the heart of St Tropez town. Strolling the narrow streets and alleys, you will view the Town Hall and square, and the Church of St Tropez. Your guide will explain the Legend of St Tropez and the significance of the town’s prolific elm trees.
An uphill climb brings you to the top of the village for breathtaking views over its red roofs, framed by the blue of the Mediterranean.
Guests who wish to stay in town to shop or explore on independently are welcome to do so, but must return to the ship on their own.
Notes:
