A local skipper from Ilulissat and a knowledgeable guide pick you up shipside. You'll head by boat to the mouth of Ilulissat's Kangia Fjord (ice fjord) to marvel at vast icebergs trapped in the bay by an underwater moraine. Your guide shares insights about Greenlandic ice and its cultural significance. The skipper will pull up an iceberg and crack off some pieces of ice; then, you'll have a beverage served "on the rocks" as you learn more about the glacier.
