Head to the heliport for take-off. Your adventure is a fantastic helicopter flight over land and sea.
Spend the first 15 minutes of the flight above the tundra fields of Ilulissat, with a view over the ice fjord of Disko Bay. Majestic icebergs vie for space in the choked fjord, creating an other-worldly landscape that is the stuff of the wildest postcards.
Next, fly 20 minutes inland toward the Greenlandic Ice Sheet. Your pilot will find a place to land the helicopter, and you will have approximately 30 minutes to explore the area. Enthusiastic walkers can reach the ice sheet and take a step onto the ice.
A 30-minute flight returns you to Ilulissat on the far side of the fjord, with spectacular views below. Watch for whales as they jockey among the icebergs, hoping to surprise lollygagging seals.
