Glen Ord Distillery is the only remaining single malt whisky distillery on the Black Isle peninsula. Immerse yourself in this Scotch malt whisky experience. After a short video introduction and tour of the facility, enjoy a dram of the Singleton of Glen Ord in the bar area. Browse in the shop for souvenirs and fine whiskies.
Continue to Beauly -- a small Scottish town known for its pretty flowers. Stroll about the lovely, spacious central square designed by Baron Lovat in 1840 and see the now-ruined 13th-century Beauly Priory in the heart of the village.
Notes
Photography is not allowed within the production area of the distillery. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Terrain includes many stairs to negotiate to reach the distillery from the bus parking area and inside the production area. Not advisable for guests with mobility limitations.
