Maximize your time in the Westfjords with this express tour to Dynjandi Waterfall — the jewel of the Westfjords.
The drive to the waterfall offers a great taste of this glacier-carved region, which is the oldest part of Iceland. You will encounter mountain ridges, stunning views, and beautiful fjords where the farms and villages huddle together on narrow strips of land. Located in the beautiful Arnarfjörður area, at 328 feet (100 m) tall, this magnificent cascade thunders down a mountainside, spreading out like a bridal veil.
At the waterfall, you will have plenty of time to explore, take pictures, and enjoy the stunning view of both the majestic waterfall and the surrounding landscape of the Westfjords.
Notes:
The walk to the waterfall is not wheelchair-accessible. The path can be slippery. Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, rocks, inclines, gravel, grass, and many steps. The tour route includes two tunnels each way.
