This beautiful walking tour starts from the pier. You will skirt the city of Harstad and follow the trail northwest to the small town of Trondenes.
In Trondenes, see the pretty, whitewashed Trondenes Church, dating back to 1250 and mentioned in the Sagas. Its coastal location is quite lovely.
Your guide will introduce you to the interesting history of both Harstad and Trondenes as you return to Harstad via the same route.

This tour is conducted entirely on foot. Tour requires walking approximately 4¼ miles. A moderate level of fitness is required. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, cobblestones, inclines, gravel and many steps. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf.
