Enjoy splendid views over Harstad and surrounding areas on this hike to Mount Keipen -- one of the favorite hiking trails among the locals.
Your tour begins with a transfer from the pier to Mount Aune, northwest of Harstad, where your trek will start. Mount Aune is one of the many treasures of nature here, with scattered forest, small mountain lakes, marshland, stones, fields and bushes.
Leave your transportation for a hike that follows the trail for approximately 1½ miles to Mount Keipen.
At the top, enjoy a cup of hot coffee and a snack of lefse (Norwegian soft flatbread) with cured mea. Take in the spectacular views and scenery below before your guide leads you back down the mountain for your transfer back to the pier.
