Paddle across the bustling harbour, where fishing boats, ferries, and freighters create a lively scene, and enjoy the thrill of gliding close to your cruise ship.
With some luck, you might spot seals, harbor porpoises, leaping salmon, or even minke whales. Guided by an experienced kayaker, this small-group tour ensures you're ready to explore the Arctic from a waterside perspective.
Notes: Double kayaks are used. Tour includes approximately 1.75 hours of kayaking. Minimum age is 12 years. Maximum weight is 243 lbs. Tour operates rain or shine but may be canceled by the operator in the event of extremely bad weather or unsuitable conditions. You will get wet; bring a change of clothing and footwear with you. Prior experience not required; beginners are welcome. Participants must be able to swim. Not suitable for those with a fear of water. The fjord water is very cold. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Drysuits are provided and must be worn.
