A Dutch-speaking guide leads this tour (or a guide with a Dutch interpreter). A limited number of Dutch guides and interpreters are available in this port; book early to avoid disappointment. This is not a bilingual tour; tours guided in English are available at www.hollandamerica.com.
As you head away from Glasgow, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic — Loch Lomond is the epitome of Scottish scenic splendor, offering views that feature high mountains and blue waters.
Explore beautiful Loch Lomond, Scotland's largest freshwater lake, and visit the charming village of Luss on its banks. A settlement has likely existed here since the 1300s, but the Luss you see today owes much to the local Colquhoun family.
Continue driving north along Loch Lomond. At Tarbet, you'll change direction and stop at the fantastic Rest & Be Thankful Viewpoint for stunning views over the local mountains before driving along Loch Fyne, Loch Eck and Holy Loch.
At Hunter's Quay, you will board the local ferry to ride across the water to Greenock and the ship.
Notes:
Luss is a pedestrian-only town. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
