Start with a panoramic drive through Gothenburg. In the heart of the city you will pass Götaplatsen, with the famous Poseidon Fountain by Carl Milles. The Museum of Fine Arts, the Concert Hall and the Municipal Theatre are also located at Götaplatsen. Watch for the Fish Market, the Opera House, and the Maritime Center, as well as Lisberg Amusement Park.
Enjoy some free time in the city before heading out on the water to the archipelago. The Öckerö municipality is spread over 10 islands and is connected to the mainland by a 25-minute ferry ride. Öckerö is home to many fishing boats and boathouses. This genuine archipelago environment will also get you close to arctic flora, ancient relics and stunning views.
In the islands, a panoramic drive will introduce you to the captivating islands of Öckerö and Hälsö.
Step inside the old Öckerö Church, dating back to the Middle Ages.
At the local folklore center, a snack including coffee and a pastry is served before you head to Hönö and Fotö Islands.
Crossing the bridge between Fotö and Hönö, take in the extensive and breathtaking view of the archipelago.
Once on Hönö Island, join your guide for a walking tour through the typical old village, where the fishing huts are nestled among the imposing granite landscape of the archipelago.
Return to Gothenburg by ferry after your tour.
