Get acquainted with Farsund. You guide will take you on a walk to see the Town Hall built in 1790. It was and still is a point of pride for the local people because the old wooden building, originally a private residence and shipping office, is the second-largest secular wooden building in Norway.
Continue to Our Savior's Church and the Varbak Panoramic Lookout Point. The latter lies in the center of Farsund and a short walk to the top facilitates amazing views of the whole city -- the beautiful marina, the mountain backdrop, old houses and even the Lindesnes Lighthouse, about 12 miles away. Snap some photos here and then head back to the ship.
Please note: Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes.
