Board a comfortable motorcoach and set off on a panoramic drive along County Waterford's Atlantic coast.
Tramore is a seaside resort whose Gaelic name means 'large beach'. It boasts delightful terraced houses overlooking a broad bay. Of Victorian vintage and one of Ireland's most popular resorts, it has flourished since the 1850s, when it was linked to Waterford by rail.
Heading west, you'll follow the cliff road along a more rugged coastline through the colorful and charming villages of Fenor, Annestown and Boatstrand. This area is known as the Copper Coast since copper mining was once a thriving activity near Bunmahon.
Turn inland toward the Comeragh Mountains -- the backbone of Waterford County. The terrain here changes to fertile farmland and you will be invited into a country pub for a cool beverage and some traditional Irish entertainment.
Return to Dunmore East and the ship.
