This scenic tour will take you to Dragoer -- one of Denmark's oldest and quaintest fishing villages. This exceptionally well-preserved town owes its lovely ambience to the fact that conservation work was started very early here, way back in 1934. In 1978, Dragoer became Denmark's first pedestrian-only town. This was quite avant-garde at the time.
Follow your guide on a leisurely stroll through the narrow cobblestone streets of historic Dragoer village to the quiet harbor, where the clear waters of the Baltic Sea invite you to dip a toe in. Don't miss the fantastic view of the Oresund Bridge connecting Denmark and Sweden -- a stunning juxtaposition of old and new.
Take advantage of some free time to explore the village on your own, or perhaps to visit some of the small shops that line the main street.
A snack of coffee or tea and a Danish pastry will be served at the waterfront hotel before you return to Copenhagen.
Notes:
This tour is available only to guests whose cruise ends in Copenhagen and with flights after 2pm. If you have already purchased an airport transfer with your cruise booking, a refund for the transfer will be processed on board the ship, as this excursion automatically includes a transfer. Tour requires walking for about an hour. Terrain includes uneven surfaces and cobblestones. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
