See the sights and highlights of Copenhagen at your own pace. This tour is designed for those who are comfortable with exploring this fascinating city on their own.
With your 24-hour ticket, you can hop on and off the double-decker excursion bus and the harbor cruise boat at your leisure to explore Copenhagen from the water and on land at your leisure. Enjoy excellent views from the bus' upper deck or ease of access on the lower deck. Extensive multi-lingual audio commentary is available through individual headphones.
The land and sea circuit, including up to 30 stops at important landmarks, museums and public spaces, allows you to see whatever interests you. Sights accessible from the stops include Amalienborg Palace, the Little Mermaid, Rosenborg Castle & Gardens, and Christiansborg Palace/Holmens Church (switch here for the boat tour). The canal cruise showcases Copenhagen from a waterside perspective and significantly enhances your appreciation of this maritime city.
Notes:
This tour is available only to guests whose cruise does not begin or end in Copenhagen. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Board the bus at the Cruise Terminal exit. You must exchange your voucher for a hop-on, hop-off ticket with the bus driver upon boarding the first bus. A clean headset is issued to you at the beginning of your tour, and you will keep it for the duration. Buses depart every 20 minutes until 5pm. The tour is open to the general public; you are merely purchasing a ticket for the bus service and are subject to traffic delays and possible wait times associated with the service. Due to the nature of this tour, there will be no refunds. It is your responsibility to return to the ship before all-aboard time. Multi-port packages and discounts for students and seniors are not available on board the ship. Entrance fees to attractions along the route are not included. The buses have wheelchair-accessible ramps, with a wheelchair bay on the lower level. Children up to 12 years old travel for free on the bus when accompanied by paying adult (maximum 2 children per adult); boat tickets must be purchased on site for children and cost €2 each.
