Your destination is Sotteville, where you will visit the Théo Capelle Cider House -- an experience that will open the door to the world of Norman beverages. Cider, Pommeau and Calvados, lovingly distilled by discerning craftsmen over centuries, are still produced here to this day. See the installations, press, fermenting room, and aging cellar before being invited to sample the products at the tasting room. Delight in the perfection of the different aperitifs, many of which are available for purchase at the gift shop.
Proceed next to Barfleur -- located on the coast of the Val de Saire. Barfleur is a pleasant fishing village famous for its oysters and mussels. Spend some free time in this popular little port; stroll along the quays, enjoy the local shopping or admire the harbor from one of the many cafes.
