Discover the beautiful coastline of Sancti Petri, approximately 20 minutes from the port of Cádiz.
A kayak paddle takes you to the Bay of Cádiz Nature Reserve. Depending on the tide, the route options are:
Either: via Anchovy Point (Punta de Boqueron) with artillery dating back to the War of Independence. Your guide will explain the local history. Then, move into the marshes of the Nature Reserve with an opportunity to spot different bird species.
Or: via the island of Sancti Petri (also called the Island of Hercules) with its fortress and lighthouse.
You will have free time for swimming and snorkeling.
Notes:
Entrance to the fortress is not included in the tour. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. You will get wet in the kayak. Minimum age is 9 years. Children from 3 to 8 can participate sitting in the middle of 2 adults.
Not suitable for guests with a heart condition. Tour does not operate in adverse weather conditions.
