Head to Seville -- Spain's fourth-largest city -- for a walking tour covering two epic structures and the Jewish Quarter.
Begin with an inside visit to Seville's cathedral -- the Catedral de Santa María de la Sede. Adjacent to the cathedral, enjoy a view of La Giralda. This Moorish tower is one of the city's most recognizable landmarks.
Follow your guide through the old Jewish Quarter. Casa de Pilatos was the permanent residence of the Dukes of Medinaceli, one of the most storied title lines in Spain. Today, it is home to one of the largest azulejo (Spanish glazed tile) collections in the world. What do you think of them?
Lunch is served as a set menu at a local restaurant.
An afternoon panoramic drive showcases the new and cosmopolitan part of Seville. See the Torre del Oro and stop briefly at Plaza España and Maria Luisa Park.
Notes:
Travel time to Seville is approximately 1.5 hours each way. The cathedral is closed on Sundays; an outside visit will be substituted. Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience. Modest attire is required for visiting churches or cathedrals; knees, shoulders and midriffs must be covered; shorts are not allowed.
