Walk with your guide through the charming streets of Bergen to reach the lower funicular station.
Board the funicular for an eight-minute ride to 1,200 feet above sea level. At the top of Mount Fløien, you will hike to Skomakerdiket Lake. The views of Bergen and its surroundings become increasingly spectacular. Hike for approximately 45 minutes to reach Rundemannsvegen and the highest point at 1,800 feet, walking on dirt roads and paths.
Walk back to the Fløibanen, take the funicular down to the center of Bergen; then, stroll back to the ship along the pier.
Notes:
Wear comfortable, sturdy walking shoes. Dress in layers with a wind- and waterproof outer layer. Bring a bottle of water. Tour operates subject to meeting a minimum number of participants. Minimum age is 6 years. Please realistically assess your physical fitness and ability prior to booking, as the walk is uphill over unpaved, rough walking tracks with steps. The guide may choose to take an alternative hiking route depending on the conditions of the day.
