Cabo San Lucas sits at the southern tip of Baja California, where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet at El Arco -- the epically famous Land's End rock formation.
Hop into a whale-friendly high-speed inflatable boat and skim across the Baja waters -- a natural breeding ground for humpback whales and several dolphin species.
The onboard naturalist will explain why the whales breed and calve here. Watch for spouting -- the great plume of spray that signifies the whales' presence. Other behaviors often include breaching and tail slapping. Your captain will position the boat for the best photo opportunities -- you're right at water level for fantastic views.
Take in the sun-drenched scenery of the sparkling coastline, luxurious resorts, and beautiful natural landscapes as you ply the cobalt waters in search of marine life.
Notes:
Maximum weight is 265 lbs. Minimum age is 5 years. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Participants must be fully mobile to (dis)embark the boat without assistance. Guests who are pregnant or have a back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water. The boats are not accessible for wheelchairs, electric scooters, or foldable strollers.
