An hour outside of Mazatlán, the sprawling La Vinata Los Osuna plantation grows blue agave for processing into tequila. It is also home to this exhilarating tour.
Step off your transportation and into a world that will take your breath away. The super, natural fun begins with the rush of adrenaline pulsing through your veins. An off-road drive delivers you from the valley floor into the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range that surrounds the plantation.
Gear up with high-quality equipment and tackle a series of 11 platforms with eight canopy zip-lines, a flex-walk bridge and three nature treks. The course provides extraordinary views of the plantation’s diverse flora and fauna as you soar above the valley floor.
A rappel from the final platform, high in an ancient huanacaxtle tree, will bring you safely back to earth among the vast rows of blue agave.
Visit the Los Osuna tequila distillery and see how this popular liquor is produced, with a chance to sample it as well.
