Transfer to El Triunfo by comfortable air-conditioned transportation -- a scenic panoramic drive of just over an hour, passing towering cacti and rugged Baja desert scenery.
Dive into the region's cultural vibe with a museum hop. You'll spend 45 minutes at the Museo Ruta de Plata, dedicated to preserving and disseminating the mining process of silver. Then, step into the vibrant history of the Wild West at the Cowboy Museum of the Californias. Here, the fascinating exhibits honor the founding vaquero (cowboy) families and a ranchero culture that still exists today.
Walk on your own to explore the picturesque streets of El Triunfo, whose gold and silver mines made it the most populous community on the Baja California Sur. Antique architecture, hidden treasures, souvenir stores, and a tour to the Old Mine invite you to explore. Meet Ramona and Julia -- two old chimney stacks designed by the renowned Gustave Eiffel.
