Come and experience beautiful San Rafaelito -- an ideal location for snorkeling. It's perfect for beginners, children, and seasoned snorkelers alike, with experienced guides providing instruction and helping you to gear up.
Head to the shallow reef, abundant in marine life, including schools of sergeant majors, queen angel fish, Sea of Cortez angel fish, moray eels, octopi, and a small colony of brown California sea lions. Lose yourself in this amazing underwater world as you view the coral heads in shallow waters. Enjoy up to two hours of snorkeling.
Return to the ship in La Paz.
Notes:
Minimum age to snorkel is 8 years. Maximum age is 74 years. Guests who are pregnant or have a heart, back, hip or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind is allowed) and a hat. Swim at your own risk. To avoid sunburn, bring light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. The sea lions are free to come and go as you are swimming in their natural habitat, and they may or may not be present during your time in the water. Snorkel vest, mask, snorkel and fins, snacks, sodas and bottled water are included.
