Join an expedition to snorkel at the spectacular Mahahual´s Mayan reef -- the second-largest living coral reef in the world.
Just 20 minutes from town, mbark a motorized catamaran and set off to navigate the beautiful Mexican Caribbean. Admire the most stunning views with crystal-clear waters and enjoy the refreshing tropical breezes. Grab a brand-new snorkel and hop overboard for a glimpse of Costa Maya's underwater world. A variety of vibrantly colored coral reefs and wildlife swim beneath you -- jacks, snapper, colorful angelfish or queen triggerfish, maybe a curious grouper, or even a group of lazy turtles.20 minutes from town, embark a motorized catamaran and set off to navigate the beautiful Mexican Caribbean. After snorkeling, it's time to enjoy a margarita and relax as the crew entertain you en route back to the pier. Guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so but must make their own way back to the ship.
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Waiver must be signed, and medical conditions disclosed. Bring local currency, as many vendors do not accept credit cards or US dollars.
