Dolphin Discovery Costa Maya is located at the end of your cruise ship pier, so you can swim with a dolphin without venturing too far from the ship.
Standing on a submerged platform, enter the water to meet your dolphin friend.
Enjoy this rare opportunity to touch the sleek and playful animal and pose for a charming dolphin smile.
In deeper water, you will be pulled along by the dolphin's pectoral fin and swim with the dolphin.
Marvel at the grace and intelligence of this incredible creature as she performs fast swims, high jumps and other exciting behaviors.
Notes:
Locker use is included. Do not wear sunscreen or jewelry, as these can injure the dolphins' skin. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing. Bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen for afterward (no other kind is allowed), light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Guests who are pregnant or have a back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Camera use of any kind is not permitted during the dolphin program. Minimum height is 42 inches. Maximum age is 70 years. A paying legal guardian must accompany guests under 55 inches tall and/or age 12 or younger in the water. You will spend approximately 30 minutes in the water with the dolphin. Life jackets are provided and must be worn.
