At the last frontier of the Mayan civilization lies the colorful fishing village of Costa Maya and an endless stretch of beach awaiting your discovery.
Climb aboard an air-conditioned bus and take an adventure through time amid the beautiful and exotic terrain of Costa Maya. Journey through the jungle and along the Caribbean shoreline en route to a beautiful beach.
Enjoy an hour of free time to lie in the sun, swim, play volleyball or drift further from reality in an ocean kayak.
Hop back on the bus and start your way back to civilization, stopping in downtown Costa Maya for an hour of shopping.
Discover the colorful culture of an ancient people in this old Mayan fishing village and witness how it meets with the realities of a modern world.
Be back at the bus at the designated time if you wish to return to the ship with the tour. Guests who wish to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so, but must return to the ship on their own.
Notes:
Ride will be bumpy. Guests who are pregnant or have a back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind is allowed) and a hat. Swim at your own risk. To avoid sunburn, bring light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up.
