This accessible Kotor shore excursion lets you experience the best highlights in and around the fascinating capital city of Montenegro. Explore the charming Old Town of Kotor, visit the Baroque-style village of Perast, and see the Roman mosaics in Risan.
Meet your knowledgeable guide and accessible van. From the pier, you will head out on a beautiful drive to the town of Perast, home to 16 cathedrals and 19 churches for its 349 inhabitants. That's a congregation of ten for each venue!
Enjoy a short stroll/roll through the main thoroughfare to the popular Perast Museum. This small museum is housed in a beautiful palace by the sea and offers a fascinating exhibition of maritime artifacts and historical weaponry.
On the Bay of Kotor, pause in the town of Risan, which traces its origins back to the ancient Roman settlement of Rhizon. Visit the Roman Villa to view its mosaics dating from the 2nd and early 3rd century AD.
Back in Kotor, follow your guide on a memorable walking/rolling tour of the charming Old Town. See St Tryphon Cathedral, St Lucas Church, the Kotor Maritime Museum, and many Renaissance buildings.
Browse at the colorful Green Market located outside the old city walls to absorb its fun and vibrant atmosphere.
