Journey through ancient Greek history during this picturesque walking tour through Old Kotor and visit the Maritime Museum.
A short drive around the bay brings you to Perast -- a small, peaceful Baroque village. Take a short boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks Islet, whose original church was built in 1452. According to legend, sailors once laid a rock in the Bay of Kotor upon returning from each successful voyage to create the islet. You’ll view the stunning present church, built in 1632 and enlarged in 1722. See 68 magnificent paintings by Tripo Kokolja, a famous 17th-century Baroque artist from Perast. His most important painting, The Death of the Virgin, is nearly 33 feet long. You’ll also view paintings by Italian artists, along with the classic, mid-15th-century masterpiece Our Lady of the Rocks by Lovro Dobricevic of Kotor.
Return to Perast for a guided tour and lunch at one of the beautiful local restaurants situated by the sea.
Reboard the coach for a pleasant drive back to the port of Kotor.
