From the port, you will drive by coach to the Sveti Stefan area. The Old Town is located on an island connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus and is privately owned. Nowadays, it is a getaway village for the privileged few. The isthmus itself is quite lovely in that it is flanked by two pink sandy beaches. Take photos from the shoreline above Sveti Stefan.
Budva is one of the oldest cities on the Adriatic Sea. It is surrounded by ramparts dating from the 15th century, including a medieval fortification system complete with city gates, defense walls and towers. The citadel's ramparts are cleverly disguised as a festival theatre stage in the summertime.
With a sense of the atmosphere of the Middle Ages, continue to the Djuric Ercegovic family farm in the village of Grbalj. This fantastic estate includes a beautiful garden, a small vineyard and other typical Montenegrin architecture.
Explore the farm, meet the farm animals, and pick vegetables from the garden before enjoying delicious local specialties such as smoked ham, cheese and wine. All the food you will taste is homemade from ingredients grown here on the estate.
Return to the ship after this memorable taste of Montenegro.
Notes:
Wear comfortable walking shoes.
