Travel from Trieste to Tronchetto. Here, you will board a privately chartered boat to reach the heart of Venice. Meet your local guide and set out to discover the magnificent architectural treasures of this legendary city.
Pass by the Doges' Palace -- a symbol of the republic and a stunning example of fine Venetian-Gothic architecture, see the Bridge of Sighs and continue to St Mark's Basilica and admire from outside the city's foremost church -- the center of religious and social life in Venice. The beautiful juxtaposition of Byzantine architecture, marble and mosaics lends St Mark's its "Golden Church" moniker.
Enjoy some free time to take photos of yourself with the pigeons in world-famous St Mark's Square or stroll through the narrow streets.
Returning to Tronchetto by boat and transfer to Marco Polo Airport .
