This picturesque tour showcases the highlights of the Slovenian coastline and visits a farmers' market.
A panoramic drive takes you along the very short coastline that is Slovenia's toehold on the Adriatic. You will stop along the way at the main highlights.
Admire the stunning scenery as you pass through the town of Izola. Your informative guide will introduce you to the history and political significance of the region.
Continue to the charming town of Piran, where you'll have some free time during a photo stop. Piran is almost a living museum, as it reflects its Venetian past in its appealing intact architecture.
Further south, you'll pass the seaside resort of Portorž -- the Port of Roses.
Turning inland, enjoy a panoramic drive among salt pans and olive groves. Your destination is a traditional Istrian village. Here, you will have the chance to explore at your leisure.
In another traditional village called Padna, take advantage of some free time at the local farmers' market to browse among the stalls and sample local delicacies. This village boasts an amazing panoramic view over the Slovenian coast -- a delicious symphony of flavors and fun.
