Begin your tour with a drive to Marseille, with sightseeing along the way. You will travel via the J.F. Kennedy Corniche road, which follows the natural contours of the coastline and offers lovely views of offshore islands dominated by the surrounding massif.
Passing Pharo Palace Park situated on the promontory at the harbor entrance, you will stop for photos at the Old Harbor in Marseille.
At Notre Dame de la Garde, those who would like to climb about 160 steps will appreciate a 360-degree panoramic view of Marseille from the top. If you don't wish to climb, you will still have a photo opportunity from this wonderful viewpoint. The Basilica was built in the mid-19th century in Roman-Byzantine style.
