The Cinque Terre is a rugged collection of villages in the Liguria region is made up of five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. Spend a full day exploring this famous part of Italy’s coast.
Board a motorboat and cruise the Tigullio Gulf from Portofino to Santa Margherita. Here, you’ll board an air-conditioned motorcoach to Manarola, following winding roads with dramatic views of the Mediterranean Sea.
In Manarola, take some time to explore this tiny, picturesque village on foot.
Back on the boat, you’ll continue along the Cinque Terre coastline. View from afar the villages of Corniglia and Vernazza.
Hop off the boat in Monterosso al Mare -- the most famous of the Cinque Terre villages. After a guided introduction to the town, enjoy a refreshment and a taste of bruschetta. Use your free time to explore the tiny shops and acquaint yourself with local, authentic cuisine for lunch (at your own expense).
Journey by local train to Levanto and, from there, you’ll board a coach to Santa Margherita for the drive back to Portofino and the ship.
