Departing from Split, enjoy a scenic RIB (rigid inflatable) boat ride along the Dalmatian Coast and visit the sunniest Croatian island, Hvar. All year round, the sun pours down on Hvar, making its limestone towns sparkle amid green hills, rocky terrain and a sea of clear cobalt blue.
Hvar is the longest Croatian island and is home to three towns. Today, you will visit the largest of these, also named Hvar, for a guided walk. Explore the town and its impressive walled fortress overlooking the harbor. In the very heart of the port is a large arsenal, built in 1612, that now houses Europe's first community theatre. Three bell towers soar above the jumble of tiled rooftops.
After a refreshment stop, enjoy some free time in Hvar before boarding your boat for a scenic cruise to Palmižana.
Palmižana belongs to a group of approximately 20 isles and skerries off the coast of Hvar. It boasts a spacious lagoon with shallow water and a beautiful sandy beach. Enjoy free time here for swimming before the relaxing cruise back to Split.
