Learn about Croatia's UNESCO World Heritage Site waterfalls with a visit to one of the country's seven National Parks.
First, a scenic motorcoach ride will bring you to Sibenik — a city bursting with history and one of Croatia's oldest and most important towns. Visit the 15th-century St Jacob's Cathedral, considered to be one of Dalmatia's most valuable religious monuments.
Continue through the Sibenik hinterland of karst for lunch served at a lovely restaurant in the small town of Skradin.
A special experience awaits you next — a journey to the famous Krka Waterfalls National Park. Here, beautiful falls cascade over 17 natural barriers, creating a breathtaking play of light, sun and water. There will be ample time here for exploring and taking photographs of the scenic countryside before returning to Split.
Notes:
Wear comfortable walking shoes. This tour requires extensive walking. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, inclines, gravel, grass, and many steps. Swimming is not allowed in Krka National Park.
