Fun and adventure are the order of the day when you take to Crete's countryside in a self-driven, manual (stick-shift) gear 4x4 vehicle.
You'll travel over stony trails and through the olive groves, enjoying the wild landscape characteristics of Greece's largest island. Stop at Therisso Gorge to take photos and for coffee in the hamlet of Therissos.
Heading off-road, you'll drive through Drakona and some other small villages en route to Hiliomoudou. This is the main stop on your tour.
End your safari with a drive along a scenic road that leads through Stilos, Kalyves and various other villages on the way back to Souda Port.
Notes: The self-drive 4x4 vehicles are manual (stick shift) and must be driven by one of the participants. Vehicles are not private and are shared between the participants with a maximum occupancy of 4. Drivers will take turns at the wheel. Drivers must present a valid driver’s license; photocopies are not accepted. This tour is not recommended for guests with mobility challenges due to uneven grounds, inclines, prolonged walking/standing, steps or similar.
