Meet your guide in Rome and set out on a walking tour of the city's highlights. At St Peter's Square you'll have an exterior view of St Peter's Basilica. Enjoy free time to take photos and savor an Italian gelato.
Walk to Castel Sant Angelo, crossing the river Tiber before you reach Piazza Navona. Wander along Via dei Coronari, famous for its little shops full of art and antiques.See the Pantheon from the outside and stop in front of the Trevi Fountain. Toss a coin into the fountain -- according to tradition, this will ensure your return to Rome.
Taste two different types of pizza from a nearby vendor. Pass Venice Square and glimpse the ruins of the Roman Forum -- once the heart of the ancient city. At a local restaurant, savor a wine-tasting session accompanied by Italian cold cuts.
View the Colosseum from the outside, with time to snap some excellent photos before returning to the ship by coach.
